The Club Room and Library

 Located on the first floor, the Club Room and Library are regarded as the heart of the Club as this is where members and guests meet for coffee, a glass of wine or simply to peruse the extensive array of newspapers and magazines which are available. Exhibitions of members work take place here as do recitals, performances, talks and social gatherings. One of the dominant features of the space is the grand piano which is a vital aspect of Club entertainment. Partly used as a library, the Club Room houses a superb collection of books which are currently being re-catalogued by the Club Librarian. The Club Room and Library make a most versatile space which, for a reception, accommodates 80. Laid out for a recital, talk or presentation 60 persons can be seated.
Open 11.00am to 11.00pm Tuesday to Saturday. Closed on Sunday.
Alcoholic and other drinks, plus snacks, are available throughout these times. Pizzas can be ordered from a local Italian Restaurant between 4.00pm and 10.00pm and can be served in the Club Room which also has a modestly priced wine list.
