The Location of the Club and it's facilities
Although the Scottish Arts Club is situated only a few hundred yards from the West end of Princes Street, in the heart of Edinburgh, its Rutland Square location is surprisingly secluded. The Club's fine four-storey Georgian town house, originally occupied by the Club in 1894, remains one of the most delightful yet exclusive venues in Scotland's capital.
Opening Times
The Club is open six days a week from 11.00 am till 11.00 pm Monday to Friday (and closes at 3.00 pm on Saturdays). Except for a brief closure between Christmas and New Year, the Club is open all year.

Dining
Lunch is served daily in the Dining Room on the ground floor between 12.30 and 1.45.

(In addition to the normal lunch service for Members, the Club Manager is pleased to cater for dinner and supper parties for Members and their guests, or for outside organisations provided they are sponsored by a Member).

Meeting at the club
The main lounge (the Smoke Room - a large and well-ventilated room that is usually smoke-free!) on the first floor has a piano, a selection of newspapers and magazines and the library. The Club's bar is on this floor.
The top floor houses the billiard room and painting studio.
